ABOUT DEN'S TEADen’s Tea is a subsidiary of Japanese tea manufacturer, Shirakata-Denshiro Shoten, Inc. (SDS). It was established to distribute a variety of authentic and, most important, fresh Japanese tea to the North American tea market. Most of Den’s teas are grown in the prestigious growing regions of Shizuoka prefecture. They are processed and packaged under the direction of SDS. Den’s Tea imports these premium teas directly from Shizuoka into California and, once in California, all teas are placed in a climate-controlled storage facility. Today, Den’s Tea supplies tea to individual customers, cafes, restaurants, a major coffee chain, sweets and ice cream manufacturers, global distributors and grocery stores.

• FRESH SENCHA FROM JAPAN - Sencha is the most popular tea in Japan. The top parts of tea leaves and buds are used to produce Sencha. It is grown in full sunlight and is processed in multiple stages: steaming, kneading, drying, sifting, roasting and often blending.
• AUTHENTIC JAPANESE GREEN TEA - Our Zuiko Sencha tea leaves are grown at high altitudes, ensuring the highest quality possible. All of our Zuiko comes from a single tea garden where it is carefully cultivated and monitored.
